Youth Exchange Students and travel - they just go together!
Youth Exchange students love to travel and have new experiences. And we’re pleased to provide Rotary student ambassadors with travel opportunities that:
-
•enhance their understanding of American culture and history,
-
•introduce them to other inbound students from over 20 different countries,
-
•enable them to make friends and form bonds that will last a lifetime.

What Makes Our Tours Different
-
• Less Driving Time
-
On our summer trips, the amount of time our students spend on a bus every is measured in minutes, usually less than 90. Some bus tours average driving nearly 300 miles each day. That is 5 hours just looking out the bus window each day! On our tours, you spend more time with your feet on the ground experiencing America.
-
• More Fun and Action
-
Our tours include a mix of historical, cultural and entertaining events - we mean really fun sites. All tours visit famous American sites in major cities. Check out our itineraries.
-
• Price
-
Our tours are priced to include most expenses. Airfare to the departure city is not included because students join us from all parts of North America, including Canada and often Mexico. Plus airfares change too much and we don’t think it’s fair to make you pay an unexpected surcharge if air travel gets more expensive. The trips include hotel, ground transportation, and entrance fees to all venues plus other extras such a t-shirt, tour book, etc. ALL MEALS are included on the summer trips. All breakfasts and a few other meals are included in the Florida.
-
• Your Safety and Well-Being is Our Top Concern
-
Our staff undergo in-depth background checks as required by Rotary International. Students are supervised 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We believe only mature adult chaperones (often Rotarians) possess the life experience to look after the students on our tours. SCAT Tours always welcome volunteer chaperone applications from any Rotary district on any of our tours.
-
• Our Dedication to Rotary
-
Rotary values and the Four-Way Test are reflected in all that we do. Our tour policies mirror Rotary Youth Exchange conduct requirements.
