Eastern States Tour Itinerary
Day 1
- students arrive in Baltimore, MD;
assigned to teams; pizza party at hotel;
orientation and get acquainted
activities
Day 2
– final orientation this morning and
then travel to Washington, D.C. area
where you'll tour
Mount Vernon, the home of the first
president of the United States; stop at
a great restaurant for a buffet dinner
before going on to the hotel and a
swimming party
Day 3
- visit
Smithsonian Visitor's Center;
visit Smithsonian Museums of your choice
at your own pace;
visit the U. S. Holocaust
Memorial Museum; group
dinner at the famous Magill's Pizza &
Buffet

Day 4
–
visit the
Library of
Congress; a special Congressional tour of the
U.S.
Capitol building;
tour
the
Pentagon, home office of all of the
United States armed forces; have dinner at the famous Union
Station before you make a night visit
to the famous memorials of Washington
including the Lincoln Memorial, Viet Nam
Memorial and the new WWII Memorial
Day 5
–
you'll
either take a tour of the White House or
visit the White House visitor's center
(we can not be confirmed for security
reasons for a tour of the White House
until about 2-3 weeks prior to the
proposed visit);
more time for the Smithsonian Museums or
the National Archives;
visit the
Washington Monument
for a great 'aerial' view of the capital
of the U.S.;
travel to York, PA;
a fun evening of bowling and games after
a buffet dinner
Day 6
– travel to Hershey, PA; tour of
Hershey
World, a replica of the chocolate
factory
; visit Hershey Theme Park; before leaving the area,
you'll enjoy a Chinese buffet dinner and
then travel to Maple Shade, NJ
Day 7
–
spend the day in
Philadelphia visiting the
many
historical sights
including the
National Constitution Center
and the
Liberty Bell
Day 8
–
travel to
Wildwood, NJ for a day at the
beach.
Day 9
- travel to New York City; your
visit to the Big Apple will begin by
seeing a
Broadway play -
"Lion
King"
; spend some free time in the famous
Times Square where you have dinner and
see some of the famous sights of New York
Day 10
–
a visit to
the Museum of Natural History will be
very enlightening;
a professional guide will take you
around the city, showing you the
highlights and doing some short walking
tours; you'll enjoy dinner tonight at the
famous Grand Central Station; a visit to New York City
would not be complete without a visit to
the
Empire State Building
for a view of the city.
Day 11
- tour of the internationally known
United Nations building
;
visit
Liberty Island, home of the famous
Statue of
Liberty
where you'll get to go into the base of
the statue, plus go to neighboring
Ellis Island
where hundreds of thousands of
immigrants to the United States landed;
check out the historic
South Street Seaport.
Day 12
-
travel to Boston, MA with a stop along
the way at
Plimoth Plantation; enjoy a buffet
dinner and a relaxed evening at a 'fun
center' next door to the hotel
Day 13
– spend the day using the
Beantown Trolley Tour to explore
Boston;
have dinner at the Hard Rock
Cafe;
attend a wild
and zany live performance of
Blue Man
Group
that will have you laughing for
hours after the show is over; finish the
day with a farewell gathering at the
hotel as the tour
comes
to an end
Day 14 – you’ll say good-by to
your many new friends and fly back to
your hosting city from the Boston
airport
Breakfast is included in
every hotel stay. You will receive
cash back to buy all meals that are
not done as a group or included with the
hotel stay.
