FUN-tastic Florida

Day 1 - students arrive in Orlando, Florida.  Our staff will meet you at the airport, get you on a shuttle to the hotel and after checking into the hotel, you'll have some free time to enjoy the hotel's  swimming pools and spa.  An evening pizza party will give you time to get acquainted with other Rotary exchange students from around the U.S.

Day 2 - with a 3-day Disney Youth Education Series ticket, you'll have an opportunity to experience the Disney parks without having to rush through any of them.  Today you'll start out at Disney's Hollywood Studios™ , a park full of fun and action including Indiana Jones™, Epic Stunt Spectacular! and the ever popular with teenagers Rock 'n' Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith.  Of course you won't want to miss the Studio Backlot Tour where you can check out the behind the scenes working of Disney plus the fast paced Lights, Motors, Action!™ Extreme Stunt Show.

Day 3 -  Epcot® is a unique part of the Walt World Disney Resort.  It is a very large theme park (covers twice the area of Magic Kingdom) that is dedicated to international culture and technology innovation.  We couldn't think of a better experience for our diverse group of students.  Be sure to visit the park's area devoted to your country.  This afternoon, time permitting, will be your chance to go to Downtown Disney where you'll find more than 70 shopping, entertainment and dining choices. 

Day 4 -to give you a break in the action, slow things down a bit and give your feet a rest, you'll board a comfortable bus today and travel about an hour to the east coast of Florida where you'll tour the Kennedy Space Center, home of NASA and the location where the space shuttles were launched.  After an IMAX theater presentation on the space program and a visit to the U.S. Astronauts Hall of Fame®, you'll take a short drive to Cocoa Beach for some fun in the sun time before heading back to Orlando.

Day 5 - today you'll experience Universal’s Islands of Adventure^® more than just a theme park.  It's an exciting adventure of cutting edge rides, great shows and interactive attractions.   You'll also venture into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ as you pass through the towering Hogwarts™ castle gates and explore the familiar passageways, classrooms and corridors. It's a state-of-the-art attraction that brings the magic, characters, and stories of Harry Potter™ to life in ways never before imagined.  How cool is that?

Day 6 -the fast pace of your Fun-tastic Florida trip continues today at Magic Kingdom, Disney's signature park.  Today, you'll have an opportunity to visit Main Street, U.S.A.®, Fantasyland ®, Adventureland ®,and Tomorrowland ® before being amazed at the electric light parade and the spectacular fireworks tonight.  And who knows, you might even see Mickey during the day.  You'll be glad to return to the hotel where you'll collapse after a full day.

Day 7 - today you'll head back to your host city full of fun memories and maybe even a bit of a suntan after spending some great time in the Florida sun.

In addition to the welcome pizza party, breakfast is included every day.  You will need to bring extra money to purchase lunch and dinner each day.
