OK! So you have read about the tours, made up your mind which trip you would like to go on and are ready to submit your reservation. Now what do you do? Follow these simple steps:

STEP 1: Beginning this year, you MUST fill out the interactive application PDF form so that it is neat and can easily be read – and then print it to submit. Click here for the reservation form. If your computer does not have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, it can be downloaded FREE OF CHARGE by clicking on the Acrobat Reader logo on the necessary forms page.

Once you have opened the reservation form, place the computer cursor on each of the blanks on the form and type in your information before printing. Once it is printed, you’ll need to make sure you get all of the appropriate signatures.

Be sure that you fill in all requested information. It is all required. Your reservation will be returned to you if it is not complete when we receive it.

STEP 2: Make sure that you have the special SCAT Parental Consent form that is signed by your natural parents in your home country. No other form of permission is acceptable. Your parents can download this by clicking here.

This consent form must have the original signatures of your natural parents so they will have to mail it to you before you submit it with your tour reservation. We can not accept a consent form that has been faxed or has electronic signatures. DO NOT send your reservation material with a faxed form with the plan to send the original when received as we will return your entire reservation back to you without reserving a space for you.

STEP 3: Access the Rules Agreement form by clicking here. Print the form and read it carefully. If you agree to abide by the rules listed, you should sign the form and obtain the additional signature requested. If you feel that you can not live by all of these rules during the tour, then you should not make a reservation.

We are serious about the rules and the penalties. You can be sent home early from the tour for violation of rules and will not receive a refund of any of the money you paid. We will not let one or two students ruin the tour for everyone else.

STEP 4: Before you mail your reservation, please double check to make sure that you have all of the required signatures on all forms and all of the items requested listed on the bottom of the reservation form. These include:

ü Reservation form completely filled out – no blanks – including signatures.

ü SCAT Parental Consent form with original signatures (no other consent form is acceptable).

ü Check or money order for full payment is required with reservation mailed after 12/31/08. Check should be made payable to South Central Ambassador Tours.

ü Copy of your insurance card that shows your name and policy number (a copy of the application form is NOT acceptable). We only accept American administered insurance policies. Policies from your home country are not acceptable and will not meet the requirements of tour travel UNLESS they have a U.S. office and/or telephone contact . Contact us if you need information on how to obtain the required insurance.

ü Small photo of your face (approximately 2” x 2” like a passport photo) for the ID badge that you will wear every day while on the tour (school photos are OK to use if the proper size). DO NOT send full length photos. Electronic photo submission will not be accepted.

STEP 5: After you have made sure you have all forms completely filled out and signed plus all of the required items listed on the form, mail everything (incomplete reservations will be returned without saving a space for travel) to:

Once your reservation is received and processed, you will receive confirmation of your tour placement by e-mail message. You may also check on the Participants link on the left side of this page to see when you are confirmed and see if there are any messages for you.
